The story was a bit iffy, but the Jason makeup was, and still is, second to none. See? That's the sort of goodness that happens when you let special effects guys direct. FACT: Part VII was one of the first movies to show the stuntman being ignited for a fire stunt. Normally he's lit, camera rolls, drops to the ground and is extinguished, in Part VII the camera is rolling and you see the fire shoot from the stove and ignite Mr. Hodder. Oh, and according to the recently released 'His Name Was Jason' documentary (which I'll be reviewing soon) part VII 'was RAPED' (Directors words) by the censors. Bunch of bastards!
